Aumatech cutting-edge solutions in the tobacco supply chain

Aumatech has delivered the first system to a company belonging to the American group UNIVERSAL TOBACCO. Two more are planned under contract.

The company operates as a processor of the agricultural product, the tobacco leaf, into preparations ready for packaging of the finished product at the factories of the various brands present on the consumer market.

The company's goal, through an automated transformation process, is to achieve a high level of automation and traceability using cutting-edge technological standards and to offer products from responsible sources and processed with transparency.

Aumatech's approach was the company's standard: a focus on the solution's robustness, security, and ease of use, along with operators involvement in training and in the production start-up phase. This informative and collaborative approach allowed us to fully understand the customer's needs and thus deliver effective solutions even in a sector where Aumatech had never operated before.
